1/2 Copies Project: A Lightbox filled with the "image" of my home, Vancouver, with two-sided mirror film on the interior to create the infinity mirror effect while the plexiglass box is still transparent from outside in. Made with real rocks, moss, and polymer clay (mountain).
2/2 Copies Project: Lightbox filled with the "image" of the memory of my hometown, Beijing. The scene is created with real rocks, moss, and polymer clay flowers.
Final Project: A wire jellyfish created within a plexiglass container to communicate the captivity of sea animals and lifelessness of the creatures in a scientific-like setting.
A wolf and a mermaid form were combined in Rhino, then the form was created through bristol paper cut by the laser cutter. The texture was placed after to create the sense of the creature coming up from the depths of the water.
A rendition of the first wolf and mermaid morphosis, created with a classmate, to create the scene of a childlike bubble bath scene.
A 3D scan of my face imported into Rhino, where the brain and the cyborg-like eye were rendered along with the scan.
